About
12 Houses
Architectural photography as code.
Deconstructed. Copied. Stacked. Repeated. Reconstructed.
The artist, director and photographer Florian Seidel has been exploring the boundaries between the fields of fine art and commerce for years.
With his latest project ‘12 Houses’, he decodes classical architectural photography into an algorithm.
Architecture as code. Through the handmade digital collage and the stacking of the original photographs
new visual architectural systems emerge as DNA located between architecture as design or as architecture of metadata, while the core and colors of the photograph remain untouched.
